This class promotes better academic performance through increased energy, a more productive lifestyle, a longer, healthier life, improved self-esteem, and improved ability to work with others. Units we will try to cover: Archery, Badminton, Basketball, Biking, Cross country skiing, Dance, Disc Golf, Fishing, Fitness testing, Football, Golf, Indoor and Outdoor games, Rollerblading, Snowshoeing, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Volleyball, Team Building and High Elements Climbing…just to name a few!
Health 7
Health education class will provide learning opportunities for students to acquire and develop health knowledge, positive health attitudes, and effective health practices. The students will increase their awareness of good health as a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being which are important aspects of life. Topics that will be discussed in class will include: Human Anatomy & Body Systems, Mental Health & Suicide Prevention, Alcohol & Other Drug Prevention, and Human Growth & Development.
