Northland pines Esser III plan
School districts across the country have received federal funds to help safely reopen schools and address the learning gaps from the impact of COVID-19 on students. We must also ensure that we are committed to the continuity of learning. The third economic stimulus package called the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act included an allocation of funds for school districts (ESSER III). The ESSER III must be prioritized for a minimum of 20% of the funds for in-person learning and learning loss mitigation.
It should be noted that this is one-time funding. It is essential to keep this in mind when planning and allocating for the use of funds. Please see the district website for further information on what is considered allowable expenses or go to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction ESSER III webpage. Public comment is now open through September 5th. Please contact District Administrator Scott Foster at sfoster@npsd.k12.wi.us.
