¡Bienvenidos! Welcome! 

        I am excited to be back at Northland Pines! Before attending the University of WIsconsin- Eau Claire, I graduated from NPHS. At UWEC, I majored in Spanish, History, and Secondary Education. While there, I had the opportunity to study abroad - in both Costa Rica and Spain! This opportunity allowed me to combine two of my favorite things - travel and learning! I received my Master´s in Curriculum and Instruction with an Emphasis in English as a Second Language (ESL) and Bilingual Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. 

        I moved back to Eagle River and I have enjoyed being back home and spending time with friends and family. In my free time, I enjoy boating, walking, baking, taking pictures, and hanging out with my family. 

       I taught Spanish at Whitewater Middle School. During my first year teaching, I also taught Spanish IV and I at the high school. I also worked with the ELL students and I am looking forward to working with the ELL students we have here in the district! This year, I am teaching at both the high school and the middle school. In both buildings, I will be teaching Spanish I and in the middle school, I am also teaching Intro to Spanish. I am looking forward to introducing students to the Spanish language as well as the culture of various Spanish-speaking countries!

     Additionally, I am teaching an adult ESL class to help our non-native English speakers in the community learn and improve their English proficiency.
