He also collaborates with local employers to create meaningful, hands-on learning experiences and coordinates and oversees student placements and program logistics.
In addition to this work, Mr. Matyska teaches Computer Applications, Technology, and 21st Century Skills at the middle school level, and occasionally instructs high school courses such as Intro to Web Design and Intro to Video Production.
Throughout his career, he has taught a wide range of courses, including Computer Applications, CAD, Graphics, Digital Photography, Woods Manufacturing, Welding, Small Engines, and pre-engineering. His educational philosophy centers on building strong relationships within a safe and inclusive classroom while giving students meaningful opportunities to explore modern technology in an interconnected world.

He is also an experienced speaker and emcee, having hosted and presented at numerous school, community, and civic events, and has been involved in sports announcing, writing, and radio play-by-play.
