Since I was young, I have loved the outdoors and the abundant and mysterious life that surrounded me. Encouraged by my parents and grandparents to experience the outdoors through play and study has established the roots for this passion that I have for learning and teaching about living things. Living things and their complexity never ceases to amaze me no matter how much I teach it. My hope is to spark an interest in my students to question, wonder and explore the world that they are an integral part of.
