"What I love most about working for Northland Pines School District is the tremendous amount of pride we take in supporting our community members, groups and families. This is my 13th year working for Northland Pines as a Special Education Paraprofessional and I honestly feel like my co-workers are my second family. I was born and raised in Scotland and moved to Eagle River in 2001. It did not take long for me to feel welcomed into this community and my family and I embrace all the things the Northwoods has to offer from boating and camping in the summer to skiing and snowshoeing in the winter."

"I am so grateful to work at the Northland Pines School District because of all the amazing opportunities that are offered for students, staff as well as the families we serve. This is my third year here and I feel like our school and community have embraced me as part of the Northland Pines family. I love how our district is proactive and forward in their thinking in setting high expectations for our students as well as our staff. I am also very proud of how our families have choices in different types of educational settings that best fit their families needs. Having charter schools within our traditional school buildings makes us very unique for Northern Wisconsin. PROUD to be an EAGLE!"

"I love working at Pines because of the school, family, and community partnership that has fostered excellence in who we are and what we do. The NPSD School Board, administration, staff, families, students, and community work together and support each other so we can put forth a high-quality individualized educational experience for all the students we serve. We have small schools from small towns, but we all come together to educate our students BIG TIME!"

"I enjoy working for the Northland Pines School District because of the opportunities both in the classroom and outside of it that are available to staff and students. Often times students and teachers are found exploring the world around them outside the classroom walls, you can find them gardening, tapping maple trees, identifying creatures in a variety of habitats and engaging in lifelong, purposeful learning experiences. The Northwoods has always been home to me, having the ability to incorporate this with my passion for teaching has been quite rewarding. My own children have even developed a deeper understanding and appreciation for the outdoors because of their experiences in the Northland Pines School District."

"There is no better place to live, teach, and raise a family than in the Northwoods. Teaching at Northland Pines, I not only feel supported by my administrators and school staff, but also feel supported and connected to the community. Living in the Northwoods offers me and my family with countless opportunities to enjoy the outdoors and perks of a small town."

"I love working for the Northland Pines School District for so many reasons. The main reason I love it is because of the family atmosphere we have in all our buildings. Our staff is my second family. I also love living in the Northwoods and raising my family here. As a Pines graduate, I know my kids are getting an excellent education as well as finding a love for the outdoors."

"Northland Pines cares about its students and staff. I could not ask for a better school in which to teach! Northland Pines provides professional development opportunities and mentors for new staff as well as a variety of electives and extra curricular activities for our students. Our staff has high expectations and collaborate so our students can reach their full potential."
