Circuit training is the "Musical Chairs" of the exercise world. Exercises are set up in a circuit in which one exercise is performed for 30-60 seconds with a 30 second rest period in between. Move from one exercise to the next until the circuit is complete. Perform multiple circuits throughout the class with a mixture of high intensity cardio, muscle-strengthening activities and plyometric exercises. While this fast paced class will get your heart beating and your body sweaty, you can adapt any exercise to your current level of fitness. Never be bored with this always-changing Circuit Breaker class!

Class compliments Total Body Senior in that the activities are restricted to low impact cardio and all core.  This means, you can do TBS on Tue/Thur and also do CC on Mon/Wed without risk of over working.  There is no weight lifting in this class. The class will be divided into two areas of focus. Cardio will use treadmills, elliptical, bikes and row machines as well as instructor-led cardio activities.  The other half of the class time will be core work.
