GRADING RUBRIC FOR PERSONSL FITNESS PLAN
ASSESSMENT OF PERSONAL FITNESS LEVEL (15 POINTS POSSIBLE)
14-15 (excellent) - Plan contains assessment results in each fitness component, with level of fitness standards identified.
10-13 (above average) - Plan contains a majority of assessment results in each fitness component, with a majority of the level of fitness standards identified.
5-9 (below average) - Plan contains a few of the assessment results in each fitness component, with a few of the level of fitness standards identified.
1-5 (poor) - Plan contains incomplete assessment results, with level of fitness standards not identified.
GOALS (25 POINTS POSSIBLE)
21-25 (excellent) - Plan contains goals for each fitness component that are measurable and attainable with weak area identified.
15-20 (above average) - Plan contains goals for each fitness component that are measurable and attainable; weak area is not identified.
10-15 (below average) - Plan contains a majority of goals that are measurable and attainable; weak area is not identified.
1-10 (poor) - Plan contains a minority of goals that are measurable and attainable; weak area is not identified.
APPLICATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE FITNESS PLAN INCLUDING KNOWLEDGE OF FITNESS CONCEPTS/TERMS (45 POINTS POSSIBLE)
39-45 (excellent) - Plan contains all key principles of each fitness component accurately stated, and there is evidence of a thorough understanding of, and working vocabulary in each of these fitness components and principles.
28-38 (above average) - Plan contains all key principles of each fitness component, with minor inaccuracies, and there is evidence of an understanding of, and working vocabulary in each of these fitness components and principles.
20-27 (below average) - Plan contains a majority of the key principles of each fitness component, with minor inaccuracies, and there is some evidence of an understanding of, and working vocabulary in each of these fitness components and principles.
1-20 (poor) - Plan contains limited principles of some or all fitness components with inaccuracies, and there is little evidence of an understanding of, or working vocabulary in each of these fitness components and principles.
ORGANIZATION AND PRESENTATION (MUST BE TYPED- 15 POINTS

14-15 (excellent) - Plan contains information neatly presented with clear order, continuity and visuals.
10-13 (above average) - Plan contains information neatly presented with clear order, continuity.
5-9 (below average) - Plan contains information neatly presented with clear order, but lacks continuity.
1-5 (poor) - Plan contains information stated with some order and neatness.
