This course will focus on improving cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, and body composition. Students will assess their fitness level and utilize a fitness plan that they create to achieve personal goals. Students should expect to weight train, run, stretch, and participate in fitness enhancing games and drills. All athletes are encouraged to take this class.

The main goal of this class is to improve total fitness. The five components of fitness to be improved are cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and body composition. Fitness is the key component to our physical education program. Throughout this nine week course students will: receive a thorough overview of their fitness level, become familiar with the fitness equipment, and develop a nine week personal fitness program.
