Peter Aerts' Bio

Coach Aerts enters his fourth year being a part of the Northland Pines baseball program and second year as the head varsity coach. . Before his time at Northland Pines, he was an assistant Legion baseball coach for the Wrightstown Rockets for four years.  As a player, he has experience playing every position at the collegiate level where he played for Northland College in Ashland Wisconsin.  He was a four year starter and was a three time first team all conference player, twice as a catcher and once as an infielder.  

Rob Govek's Bio

Coach Govek comes from a baseball family where his younger brother played D-1 baseball for Southeast Missouri State and for the Wisconsin Woodchucks. His older brother coached collegiate baseball at both Lakeland College and Ashford University.  Coach Govek played his collegiate baseball at UW-Stevens Point and at UW-Stout as a 3rd baseman and pitcher. He has put a lot of time and effort into the Northland Pines baseball program and has been part of it in various roles since 2005.    

Jeff Janssen's Bio

This is Coach Janssen's 4th year with the Northland Pines baseball program and 2nd year as the varsity assistant coach.  He is the outfield coach for the program which made major strides under his tutelage last year and quickly became one of the biggest strengths of the team.  Coach Janssen's passion for the game is unmatched and really helps the players enjoy being at the ball field every day.
