I come from a baseball family, my younger brother played D-1 baseball for Southeast Missouri State and for the Wisconsin Woodchucks and my older brother is currently the head coach at Ashford University a D-2 school in Iowa.
I have colligate experience as I played 3 years for UW-Stevens Point as a 3rd baseman where I earned All-Conference in my junior year. I also played 1 year at UW-Stout as a 3rd baseman and a pitcher.
I have 8 years of coaching experience as an assistant coach. I have been the JV coach at Northland Pines for 7 years, 6 years with baseball and 1 year with softball. I also coached 1 year as the assistant baseball coach at Athens High School while I was student teaching.
I have been around baseball my entire life. My brother was an All-American 2nd basemen at Carthage College. I followed him there four years later except I was a pitcher. I earned 3rd Team All-Region as a Junior and 1st Team All-Region as a Senior, as well as 2nd Team All-Conference as a Sophomore and Junior, and 1st Team All-Conference as a Senior. I also played for the Green Bay Bullfrogs in the Northwoods League. This is my first year as a baseball coach at Northland Pines, but was an assistant for Norway High School when I did my student teaching and helped them reach the quarterfinals.
