Born and raised in Eagle River, I find it enjoyable to work with kids with similar backgrounds as mine. After graduating in 1981, I spent a year at Nicolet Area Technical College. From there I moved on to UW-Stevens Point where I majored in Home Economics Education. Iron Mountain, MI, was my first teaching asignment and I spent two years there where I found I liked advising more than teaching. This moved me to UW-Stout where I majored in Guidance and Counseling, K-12. After a few years of counseling at Sauk Prairie and Manawa, I ended up in Phelps, WI for eight years before landing my current job.
I have two boys, both at UW-Platteville. I reside in Three Lakes where I love to swim, boat, read, bake, walk, sew and relax. My favorite TV channel is HGTV! I like watching movies and traveling. My dream is to live part time in Florida in the future, sitting on the beach, watching the sunset!
I have an open door policy and students are welcome at any time.
